League format

MRVL creates competitive matches with Sunday-only play dates, so teams develop across the entire season. It’s designed for regional-level and intermediate teams looking for better competition and efficient scheduling, with paid officials provided.

Instead of searching for quality competition every week, teams earn their position each Sunday through up/down movement. Every play date builds on the last, creating more balanced pools.

The result is better competition and meaningful matches.

Earn your position

Teams earn their spot each Sunday based on results.

Less wait, more play

Back-to-back matches mean more playing time.

Competitive matches

More balanced matchups all season long.

Multi-sport friendly

Sunday-only dates fit busy family schedules.

League play

How league play works

  1. Seeded

Teams are seeded by age division and competitive ranking.

  2. Play

Each team plays three matches in its bracket every Sunday.

  3. Results count

Match results set where teams finish in their bracket.

  4. Move

Teams move up, stay, or move down based on placement.

  5. Repeat

The process continues at the next date, all season long.

How teams move

1st – 3rd placeMove up one bracket
4th – 5th placeRemain in current bracket
6th – 8th placeMove down one bracket

Three waves each Sunday. Teams play three matches, complete their day, and head home without long gaps between matches. A win for families, athletes, and coaches.
